The Department of Management Studies successfully organized an insightful Buzz Session on 19th of February 2022, at Faculty Committee Room, Faculty of Management, University of Peradeniya, commencing at 3.00 PM. The session, titled “Policy Wind Tunnel Testing and Public Policy Management” was conducted virtually via Zoom, by Senior Lecturer, Mr. D.I.J. Samaranayake, Department of Management Studies, Faculty of Management, University of Peradeniya.
His expertise and in-depth insights provided a though-provoking discussion on Public Policy Management highlighting practical applications and contemporary challenges in the field. Furthermore, the session fostered engaging discussions, where Mr. Samaranayake explored real-world applications of Public Policy and critically analyzed their relevance in the Sri Lankan context, supported by his research insights. Although conducted remotely, the session maintained a high level of interaction and engagement, allowing participants to actively exchange their ideas and gain valuable perspectives on Public Policy Management.
