The Department of Management Studies, successfully organized an educational field visit to the Highland Milk Factory – Ambewela and Damro Tea Factory – Labookellie on 28th of February 2025. Enthusiastic 2000, 3000 and 4000 level B.Com students, along with the Department academic members, actively participated in this visit.
At Highland Milk Factory – Ambewela, students gained valuable insights into the production process, organizational structure, and management practices within the dairy industry. This factory visit provided an opportunity to students as a bridge between theoretical knowledge with practical applications. At the Damro Tea Factory in Labookellie, students gained a keen understanding of the production process and organizational practices. Additionally, they had the chance to interact with industry professionals to clarify their doubts, enhancing their understanding of the industry. They thoroughly enjoyed their field visit, making it a valuable and enriching experience.
