The Department of Human Resource Management, Faculty of Management, University of Peradeniya, organized a field visit to Pedro Tea Estate of Kelani Valley Plantations PLC and the Ambewala New Zealand Farm located in Nuwara Eliya, on the 1st of July 2025. This visit was specially arranged for the 4000-level undergraduates of the department as part of their academic enrichment. The primary objective of this initiative was to provide students with practical exposure to real-world Human Resource Management practices and how these functions are implemented in a dynamic corporate setting. Through this visit, students gained a deeper understanding of HR operations beyond the classroom environment. We extend our sincere gratitude to the dedicated teams at Pedro Tea Estate and Ambewala New Zealand Farm for their warm hospitality, continuous support, and the insightful sessions conducted during our visit.
