As part of MGS 2101 – Public Sector Management, the 2000-level students of the Department of Management Studies successfully organized a guest lecture titled “New Trends in Public Sector Management” 18th of July 2025 from 2.00 pm onwards at the Conference Room, under BBA (Hons) Organizational Management Degree Program, Faculty of Management. The session was conducted by the esteemed resource person Mr. Krishantha Kulasinghe, Deputy Manager, Regional Head Office, People’s Bank, Kandy.
The lecture explored emerging trends in public sector management within both Sri Lankan and global contexts, enriched with real-world applications. It also emphasized the growing importance of public sector management in this modern era. The interactive nature of the session enhanced student engagement and deepened their understanding of the subject.
