The Department of Management Studies, Faculty of Management, successfully organized a series of guest lectures under the subject of MGS 1103 – Basics of Social Sciences. These lectures were delivered by esteemed lecturers from the Faculty of Arts, University of Peradeniya,
• Dr. S. Baskaran: Senior Lecturer Department of Political Science, “Introduction to Political Science” and “Global and Local Trends in Political Science” on 18th of June 2025 and 2nd of July 2025 respectively.
• Dr. B.D.A.D.N. Bulathwatta: Head, Department of Psychology, “Non- violence Communication” on 09th of July 2025.
• Prof. T.W.M.T.W. Bandara, Head, Department of Geography, “Environmental Management” on 18th of July 2025.
These sessions were very informative and helped students better understand important areas of social sciences. The interactive style of the lectures encouraged active participation and made the learning experience more engaging.
