The Department of Human Resource Management, Faculty of Management, University of Peradeniya, in collaboration with the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (CIPM), organized the ‘Leadership Camp-2024’ for 3000-level undergraduates of the Faculty of Management, University of Peradeniya through HRM 3201: Organizational Leadership Course. The programme was held on the 11th December 2024 at the faculty premises.
The purpose of the programme was to provide an opportunity for the undergraduates to enhance soft skills such as teamwork, leadership, interpersonal, problem-solving, and analytical skills, which will help them attract job opportunities and perform in their positions distinctively.
The event was graced by Ms Davina Kern, Group Chief People Officer at Hela Apparel Holdings, Ms. Erandathi Jayawickrama, Head of the Department of Human Resource Management, Ms Sheroon Shouketh, Assistant Manager, Human Resources, Hela Apparel Holdings, Mr Ravindu Rathnayake, Center Manager of the CIPM Kandy Regional Centre and academic members of the Department of Human Resource Management.
