As part of the MGT 1201 – Fundamentals of Social Science subject, 1000 level students from the Department of Management Studies, Faculty of Management, University of Peradeniya, organized a Social Awareness and Empowerment Project on 17th of December 2024 at Weerawalawatta Child Detention Centre.
This initiative aimed to inspire and empower participants with essential skills, knowledge, and self-motivation to build a secure and promising future. The program focused on fostering personal growth, resilience and self-confidence, helping participants develop a positive outlook and the ability to overcome challenges.
