As a part of MGT 1201 – Fundamentals of Social Science subject, the first-year BBA Students from Faculty of Management, University of Peradeniya successfully organized the “Light and Care Initiative”, a social project aimed at supporting special needs students. This event was held at K/ Senkadagala Special School on 21st of November 2024. By the engaging with special needs community, students developed a deeper understanding of social responsibility, empathy and leadership beyond the academic activities.
The initiative aimed to Provide meaning support and creating an environment where we can connect bring joy and offer support tailored to the students’ needs. The event included interactive games, music sessions and tactile art activities to create an inclusive and joyful environment.
